- Students will learn practices of successful university-level writing across multiple genres. Students will focus on the writing process, writing for specific audiences, collaboration with peers, and on the interrelationship between reading and writing.
- Prerequisites:
- (ENGL 960 with a minimum grade of XC
- or ENGL 96 with a minimum grade of XC
- or ENGL 0960 with a minimum grade of XC)
- or ENGL 0955 with a minimum grade of C
- (or ACT English with a minimum score of 17
- and ACT Reading with a minimum score of 17)
- or COMPASS English with a minimum score of 80
- (or English Accuplacer Writing (N) with a minimum score of 250
- and English Accuplacer Reading N with a minimum score of 250)
- or TOEFL Internet Based Test with a minimum score of 061
- or TOEFL Paper Based Test with a minimum score of 500
