Description:
Students will learn practices of successful university-level writing across multiple genres. Students will focus on the writing process, writing for specific audiences, collaboration with peers, and on the interrelationship between reading and writing.
Prerequisites:
  • (ENGL 960 with a minimum grade of XC
  • or ENGL 96 with a minimum grade of XC
  • or ENGL 0960 with a minimum grade of XC)
  • or ENGL 0955 with a minimum grade of C
  • (or ACT English with a minimum score of 17
  • and ACT Reading with a minimum score of 17)
  • or COMPASS English with a minimum score of 80
  • (or English Accuplacer Writing (N) with a minimum score of 250
  • and English Accuplacer Reading N with a minimum score of 250)
  • or TOEFL Internet Based Test with a minimum score of 061
  • or TOEFL Paper Based Test with a minimum score of 500
  • or International Eng Lng Test Sys with a minimum score of 5
