Description:
This course will focus on writing researched arguments, discerning, engaging with, and documenting sources, and writing with rhetorical awareness and persuasive force. Students will continue to learn practices of successful academic writing including the writing process, writing for specific audiences, and collaboration with peers.
Prerequisites:
  • (ENGL 1010 with a minimum grade of C
  • or ENGL 1005 with a minimum grade of C
  • or ENGL 1006 with a minimum grade of C
  • and ENGL 1007 with a minimum grade of C)
  • (or ACT English with a minimum score of 29
  • and ACT Reading with a minimum score of 29)
  • or AP: English, Language & Comp with a minimum score of 3
  • or AP: English, Literature & Comp with a minimum score of 3
  • or English Placement (Current) with a minimum score of 4
  • or CLEP: Engl Comp With Essay with a minimum score of 50
